Preliminary preparation and debugging analysis of sound engineering system

The types and quantities of audio equipment included in each system of professional audio engineering are relatively large, and the use of various equipment and the working mode of the system are not the same, so the equipment debugging of the system is also different, but because the types of engineering are also very different, we will only explain the steps of the general type of audio system in the early preparation and debugging.

1. Preparation before commissioning

The commissioning of sound engineering is a work that requires both technology and experience, but also serious and responsible spirit, when the design, selection, layout and construction are in line with the requirements, the commissioning of equipment and systems is the only means to meet the design requirements, so make full preparations before commissioning.

These preparations include: preparing the necessary instruments and tools, such as phasers, noise generators, spectrometers, sound pressure meters, and multimeters for sound tuning; Preparation of all engineering and construction drawings; Carefully read the installation and instruction manuals of all equipment, and prepare the instruction manuals for important or special equipment for later use; Another thing that needs to be prepared is to ensure that there are no irrelevant personnel on site before the commissioning work begins, so as to avoid interference in the commissioning work.

  

Second, check the installation and connection of the equipment according to the design and layout requirements

Different from the construction steps of the project, the thinking of checking the installation and connection of the system and equipment in the equipment commissioning stage is based on the outline of the entire system, and the purpose is also to find problems, and it is easy to find problems, so it is necessary to check before commissioning;

At the same time, during the inspection process, it is necessary to ask the construction personnel whether there are any remaining problems during the construction process to ensure that there are no problems with the power supply line and voltage.

3. Set all equipment accordingly

Because the composition of each system equipment is different, the equipment working environment is different, and the signal processing and transmission methods of each system are also different, the significance of setting is to make the equipment work in a reasonable state, so that the cooperation and control between the equipment have a good foundation.

(1) Sound system

The settings of the audio system include: (1) the voltage range of all equipment should be set to the power supply voltage, and try to be one gear higher; (2) The signal transmission level value of the system should be set as consistently as possible to ensure that the transmission reference point of the signal is the same; (3) Whether the working state of the power amplifier is stereo, parallel mono or bridged mono, the protection state setting is not, the selection of input transformer, etc.; (4) What is the frequency division mode of the speaker, and where is the high-frequency attenuation position; (5) The signal input attenuation of the mixer and the signal grouping; (6) How to select the gear of the peripheral equipment, whether it is bypassed, whether it is linked, whether it is activated, etc.

(2) Lighting system

The setting of the lighting system includes: (1) the setting of the working voltage and signal voltage of all equipment; (2) The setting of the lamp model that needs to be controlled in the specific control equipment; (3) In digital signal transmission, the coding form of the signal is set, and the address code of the receiving device is set; (4) Determine the position of the optical path of all lamps or actions on the dimming table, and set the function buttons on the computer lamp.

(3) Video system

The settings of the video system include: (1) setting the working voltage of all equipment; (2) Setting the signal color standard, setting the black and white balance and shooting illumination on the recording device; (3) The selection of the signal receiving mode of the projector, the selection of the projection, display mode, and size, and the setting of the three-color superposition effect.

In short, the equipment setting of each system in the project is a very important work, which should be carefully checked and carefully carried out, and if necessary, read the corresponding instructions.

4. Conduct separate operation inspection of each equipment in the system

The following is a separate operation check for each device in the system. The significance of this step of work is that from the separate equipment operation inspection, we can gradually check the transmission of signals, check the individual working conditions of the equipment, and prepare for the normal operation of the system to achieve a better sound, light and image quality.
